Giambi underwent his third injection in the wrist in New York on Thursday. The team said MRI and CT scans showed no change from the previous results, which identified the tear. Although it may require surgery after the season if pain continues, Yankees general manager Brain Cashman said Giambi will return this season, "There's no doubt he'll be able to play through it”.
