When Damon and Hallady square off on Thursday, the former Boston star does so with a career batting average against Hallady of .342 (27-for-79) and OBP of .409. September 19, 2008 Johnny Damon went 2-for-4 and scored the winning run in the Yankees 3-2 victory over the Orioles on Friday. He also got his 29th stolen base of the season. September 18, 2008 Johnny Damon was given permission by the Yankees to leave the team to attend the birth of his fourth child. The Yankees expect Damon to rejoin the team on Friday, according to the Yankees official web site. September 9, 2008 Johnny Damon went 2-for-5 with a pair of homers and three RBI in Tuesday's win over the Angels.
