November 3, 2009 The Associated Press reports Vernon Wells will undergo surgery next week to repair damaged cartilage in his left wrist. He is expected to be ready for spring training. September 24, 2009 Vernon Wells led the way for the Jays in a losing effort on Thursday. Wells went 2-for-4 with a home run, a run scored, and all four of his team's RBI in their 5-4 loss to the Mariners. September 11, 2009 Vernon Wells helped carry the Jays in tonight's 6-4 win at Detroit, as he went 2-for-3 with two RBI. He hit a single and a double.
