Veteran utilityman Jolbert Cabrera started in Keppinger's place, according to MLB.com. July 17, 2008 Jolbert Cabrera has been activated from the 14-day disabled list after fracturing his left index finger. July 5, 2008 Updating an earlier report, Jolbert Cabrera is indeed progressing well in his recover from a fractured left index finger, and he not only hit in the batting cage on Saturday he also plans to begin his rehab assignment on Tuesday, according to MLB.com. July 5, 2008 Infielder Jolbert Cabrera hit off a batting tee on Friday. It was his first such work since suffering a compound fracture of his left index finger on June 20. he is expected to take batting practice on Saturday, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
