Tim Hudson will meet with a team physician before traveling to Birmingham, Alabama to see famed orthopedic surgeon James Andrews, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. It's already been revealed that he has ligament damage, and it's possible he could require Tommy John surgery. Hudson said he hasn't felt pain in his elbow. "I'm starting to wonder if it's been like this for three or four years, and is just something I learned to deal with," Hudson said Monday.

The Sports Ticker reports that Braves' general manager Frank Wren announced on Monday night that an MRI performed on staff ace Tim Hudson's right elbow revealed possible ligament damage. The 33-year old will be evaluated further by Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Alabama later this week.

My heater fastball is normally a lot better than that. Just wasn't coming out of my hand good, for whatever reason."

The Atlanta Braves pitcher was scheduled to start Thursday's finale of a four-game series against the Colorado Rockies, but the game was postponed until June 16 because of snow. In two starts at Turner Field against the Rockies, he has allowed just three runs in 22 innings.
