Manager Ron Washington told the Dallas News that he wanted Josh Hamilton to get some rest Sunday, but he didn't want to take his bat out of the lineup. Despite the fact Hamilton was in a slump and appeared to be wearing down, Washington said he wanted the major league's RBI leader to work through it as a designated hitter. "He's one of our studs," Washington said. "I just can't take him out of the lineup. The more pitches you see, the more opportunity you have to come out of it."
