Orlando Hudson has been placed on the 15-day DL due to a dislocated left wrist, according to the AP. Hudson suffered the injury in the sixth inning of Saturday’s loss to Atlanta. Manager Bob Melvin said, "It’s not great, dislocation, fracture of a bone in his wrist, and we’re not 100 percent sure whether he has to have surgery. Probably a pretty good chance, but we will know in the morning. If he has the surgery, he’s out for the rest of the year, and if he doesn’t, there’s still a chance he could be out for the rest of the year."

Orlando Hudson, coming back from surgery on his thumb, has been cleared by the training staff to be a full participant in drills, according to MLB.com. However, the D'Backs could take it easy on the second baseman this spring. "Before games start, you get a read on where the soreness will be, if indeed he has any, so I'll kind of monitor that," manager Bob Melvin said. "He's the kind of guy that doesn't need to get 100 at-bats during spring training. He might be a guy that I want to back off early, but until we get through the first few days of hitting off pitchers and so forth, I won't really know." Hudson should be good to go by the time the games start counting, and he'll provide solid production across the board again.
