He was bumped to the bullpen because Adam Wainwright returned and the team had numerous days off. August 11, 2008 Joel Pineiro hurled seven solid innings on Monday night against the Marlins to even his record at 5-5. Pineiro allowed two runs, one earned, while striking out four and walking two.
