September 18, 2008 Erik Bedard indicated than an MRI exam earlier this season revealed a tear in his left labrum as well as a cyst, according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. He said, "We tried rehab and it got better, but it never got good. The pain was less at times, but I always felt it."
