MLB.com reports that Omar Infante was activated after testing his strained right hamstring during batting practice preceding Tuesday night's game against the Marlins. To make room for him on the 25-man roster, the Braves optioned Brent Lillibridge to Triple-A Richmond.

Updating an earlier report, Omar Infante suffered a strained left hamstring on Wednesday and is being listed as day-to-day, according to the Associated Press. I dont think its going to be that bad, manager Bobby Cox said. He wanted to stay in and when I asked him to bend down and stretch it a little bit, (his hamstring) grabbed him pretty good.
