Joe Saunders will not make his next scheduled start due to kidney stones, but the club hopes that he will be able to start next Sunday in their regular season finale, according to the Los Angeles Times. "We're going to hold him off and not pitch him just for the fact of we don't know where his condition is going to be," manager Mike Scioscia said. "We're anticipating he's going to be fine in a day or two..."
