August 31, 2008 Nick Swisher went 0-for-4 for the White Sox, but the team still found a way to beat the Boston Red Sox by a score of 4-2. August 26, 2008 Nick Swisher left Tuesday's game against Baltimore at Camden Yards after fouling a pitch off of his left leg during a 4th-inning at-bat, according to MLB.com. Swisher was diagnosed with a lower left leg contusion and is listed as day-to-day. August 11, 2008 Nick Swisher was the lone White Sox batter to produce two hits on Monday night as he went 2-for-3 at the plate to raise his average to .234.
