The Diamondback ended up losing to the Giants but before they did Chris Snyder hit a game-tying home run in the top of the ninth. It was Snyder's 15th homer of the year.

As expected, Chris Snyder has been activated from the DL, according to the AP. Utility catcher Robby Hammock has been optioned to Triple-A Tucson as the adjoining move.

Chris Snyder is expected to be activated from the DL today following his recovery from a left testicular fracture, according to the East Valley Tribune. Robby Hammock is the likely candidate to get sent down to make room on the roster, unless manager Bob Melvin opts to carry three catchers.
