Catcher George Kottaras has been recalled from Triple-A Pawtucket, according to the Boston Globe. Marcus McBeth was demoted to Pawtucket.

George Kottaras hit two home runs and knocked in five runs as the DH for Triple-A Pawtucket on Monday night. Kottaras is trying to rebound from a disappointing 2007 season in which he hit .241-9-39 in 294 at-bats at Triple-A.
