He has been out since April 30 with a torn left quadriceps tendon. Tulowitzki will spend five days in Modesto, playing five innings today, followed by seven Thursday. He will continue increasing his workload before returning Monday to Denver to be re-evaluated. If fine, he would head to Triple-A Colorado Springs for a final chunk of at-bats.
