Adam Greenberg returned from his post-concussion headaches and began playing for Double-A West Tennessee on Monday, according to the Chicago Tribune. Greenberg was beaned on the first pitch of his first major-league at-bat July 9 at Florida.

The Cubs placed Adam Greenberg on the 15-day disabled list with a concussion, according to the AP. He was hit in the head last week by the first pitch he faced in the major leagues. The move was retroactive to July 10. "He's still feeling the effects of getting hit," manager Dusty Baker said. "It's a very serious thing getting hit in the head with the ball. He's still feeling a little woozy. He can't play anywhere right now."
