April 22, 2008 Jordan Tata has been activated from the DL (right hand fracture) and has been optioned to Class-A Lakeland, according to the Detroit Free Press.
March 10, 2008 Jordan Tata will have his injured hand examined by doctors after he punched a door and early reports are that he has a broken pinkie on his throwing hand, this according to MLB.com. Tata will now almost certainly have to start the season in the minors and try to work his way back up to the bigs as a long reliever unless one of the teams starters is subsequently injured.
July 29, 2007 The Tigers have recalled Jordan Tata from Triple-A Toledo. Tata will start Monday in place of the injured Kenny Rogers. In 11 starts for Toledo this year, Tata holds a 3.29, but he has just 30 Ks over 63 innings.
April 20, 2007 Jordan Tata is expected to be sidelined another four to five weeks due to shoulder soreness, the Detroit Free Press reports. Tata's shoulder was examined this week by Dr. Lewis Yocum; surgery was not prescribed.
September 1, 2006 The Tigers recalled Jordan Tata from Triple-A Toledo Friday. Tata posted a 3.86 ERA in seven appearances earlier this year with the team. He had a 10-6 record and 3.84 ERA in 21 starts with Toledo. He will work out of the Tigers bullpen.
