July 12, 2008 Brian Slocum has been optioned to Triple-A Buffalo, according to the AP. The team called up Matt Ginter for tonight's start against Tampa Bay, and Slocum was viewed as expendable to free up a roster spot. July 4, 2008 Brian Slocum has been recalled from Triple-A, according to The Sports Network. Like Jensen Lewis, he is taking over one of the roster spots vacated when Joe Borowski and Rick Bauer were designated for assignment. June 8, 2008 The Indians optioned Brian Slocum to Triple-A Buffalo Sunday. The move was made to make room on the roster for Jeremy Sowers, who will start today.
