Manuel Corpas worked a scoreless inning on Tuesday night, allowing one hit. The former closer has served up only one unearned run and four hits over his last seven appearances (6.2 innings). Manager Clint Hurdle praised him on Tuesday, the Denver Post reports.

Manuel Corpas will remain with the Rockies though the possibility of sending him to the minors is still possible, according to MLB.com. "It's still the inconsistency of repeating his delivery and maintaining a consistent arm slot," Hurdle said. "But he had two solid outings before that, so I think that's going to keep him in play. I'm confident we'll find a way to keep him moving forward."
