May 19, 2008 After Shawn Hill continued to experience discomfort in his pitching elbow during Friday's start, the Nationals believe the right-hander's turn in the rotation will be skipped, which is scheduled for Wednesday at home against Philadelphia, notes the Washington Post.
"For the good of the kid, we're probably going to end up skipping him," Acta said. "We'll get together tomorrow and make that decision."
Acta said left-hander Matt Chico , who was moved to the bullpen after starting the season 0-5 with a 6.87 ERA, is a candidate to start in Hill's place.
