Matt Harrison won a pitching duel against Brian Bannister and the Rangers completed a sweep of the Royals with a 3-2 victory at Kauffman Stadium on Wednesday night, according to MLB.com. Harrison went 6 2/3 innings and allowed two runs (both earned) on seven hits with two walks and four strikeouts, raising his record to 6-3 with a 5.67 ERA.

Matt Harrison posted easily the best performance of his young career on Saturday night. The southpaw celebrated his 23rd birthday by tossing eight shutout innings against the Rays. He allowed three hits, walked none, and struck out eight. Harrison improved to 5-2.
