September 29, 2008 MLB.com reports that Kevin Slowey played catch on Monday afternoon at the Metrodome for the first time since taking a Juan Uribe line drive off his right wrist in Thursday's game against the White Sox. The right-hander suffered a deep bruise as a result of the play. He's had limited mobility in the wrist due to the swelling. He could be back for the ALDS should the Twins beat the White Sox on Tuesday.

Slowey appeared to injur himself while fielding an infield single and was taken to the hospital for X-rays. He allowed six runs - four earned - and five hits in 3 2/3 innings.
