Eliezer Alfonso was optioned back to Triple-A after hitting .091 in 11 AB. July 1, 2008 Catcher Steve Holm has been sent down to Triple-A Fresno, according to the AP. The team recalled catcher Eliezer Alfonzo as an adjoining move. May 21, 2008 Steve Holm was pulled from today's lineup at catcher due to illness, according to MLB.com. Manager Bruce Bochy thought Holm had a touch of food poisoning.
