Ramon Ramirez, 25, will start on Tuesday for Josh Fogg according to MLB.com. In 10 innings this season, Ramirez has struck out eight and allowed three earned runs. His last appearance, three innings in relief of Fogg, lasted three innings and he did not allow a hit.

MLB.com reports that Josh Fogg will miss his scheduled start on Tuesday due to a sore groin. Ramon Ramirez will take the mound instead. "I don't think I got it as bad as, obviously, some guys do," said Fogg, who has compiled a 2-7 record to go along with a 7.58 ERA this season. "It's sore but it's not nearly as bad as last year. I guess we'll just wait and see over the next few days and see what happens."

He went 2-for-3 with a double Thursday, and has now hit safely in seven straight games. 16 of his 26 hits have went for extra bases as well, with eight doubles, two triples, and six homers.

The Pirates jumped out to an early 5-0 lead against the Reds, but thanks to Joey Votto, the Reds did not go away easily. Votto hit his 17th home run early in the game and also drove in the game-winning run in the eighth inning.
