McLouth dove to try and catch a line drive by Pablo Sandoval with no outs and the bases loaded in the fourth, and Pittsburgh leading 5-0. The ball bounced in front of McLouth and struck him near his left eye, then bounced into left field, allowing all three runners to score. Nyjer Morgan replaced McLouth in center.
