Following a report from earlier in the week, New York Knicks center Eddy Curry will have arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, ending his disappointing season, according to the Associated Press. Curry will have a piece of torn cartilage removed next week, the Knicks said Friday. Recovery time is expected to be four to six weeks. Curry has been one of few bright spots for the Knicks this season and now the hope of a full recovery takes over and spills into next season.

Randolph threw a cup of water at Robinson during the verbal disagreement and Robinson responded by tossing back a towel before they were separated, notes the New York Post. Randolph called it “heat of the moment.’’ “It was a misunderstanding,’’ Randolph said. “Nate and I talked about it.’’ The Post blog noted that Randolph appears on edge with the trading deadline tomorrow.

According to the NY Daily News the Knicks have seen the Zach Randolph- Eddy Curry experiment flop and with the trading deadline only nine days away, the team is shopping their two big men. It's not known exactly what Isiah Thomas is looking for in return - a Pau Gasol-type fire sale is not being conducted - but he's definitely trying to move both.
