April 30, 2008
The Atlanta Hawks have lost, at least momentarily, their luster, taking a 110-85 loss in Game 5 of their 1st-round playoff series against the Boston Celtics. Atlanta guard Joe Johnson , as he has done all season long, continues to carry the load on offense, shooting 6-for-11 from the field, 2-of-4 from three-point range, and a perfect 7-of-7 from the charity stripe to score 21 points in the loss.

Johnson has averaged more than 41 minutes a game over the past 27 games, during which time he has averaged nearly 24 points a game. Toss in an improved shooting percentage of over 47% and it's easy to see why he remains one of the best all-around options in fantasy basketball.
April 2, 2008
Both Joe Johnson and Mike Bibby lit up the boxscore in leading the surging Atlanta Hawks to an impressive 127-120 win over the Toronto Raptors. Johnson was 11-of-21 from the floor and 3-of-7 from three-point land to score 28 points on the evening, adding 11 assists and seven rebounds. March 27, 2008
Guard Joe Johnson, who led the Hawks with 28 points and eight assists in Wednesday's win over the Bucks, will receive a spike in his stat-line, if in fact Mike Bibby misses extended playing time after aggravating his injured thumb last night. Johnson, who made 11 of 17 and sank 4 three-pointers in Wednesday's romp of Milwaukee is leading a new look, up-tempo Hawks offense.
March 26, 2008
Joe Johnson led the way in another Atlanta Hawks win, scoring 28 points on 11-of-17 from the field and 4-of-8 from three-point land, adding eight assists to the fantasy offering. Johnson's night might be viewed as a bit of a let down considering his normal production. Regardless, the guy is a fantasy mainstay and, like pizza, his "bad" nights aren't really that bad.
March 22, 2008
Joe Johnson was at it again, scoring 34 points with seven assists, five rebounds, and two steals in Atlanta’s 98-90 win over the Orlando Magic. Johnson has been a fantasy mainstay this season, but this is the first time since March 8th that he went over 30 points.
March 19, 2008
The Hawks hit the floor with a full team effort, each starter scoring at least 15 points, and the approach kept Joe Johnson to reasonable numbers and resulted in a loss (117-125). Johnson ended with 22 points, four rebounds, and four assists. It would be fair to note Johnson shot just 7-of-18 from the field, so the opportunity for the normally-gaudy numbers was there. He just had an off night and the Hawks (and fantasy owners) suffer as a result.

Joe Johnson continues to keep fantasy owners happy, posting 28 points with 11 assists and four rebounds in Atlanta's 109-98 win over the New York Knicks. The man is tearing it up after a somewhat disappointing month in February. He's missed the 28-point mark just once (back on the 2nd against Boston) and fell short of the 30-point mark just four times. If Atlanta gets into the playoff picture, it will be because of Joe Johnson.
March 14, 2008
In what can only be described as the daily norm for the man, SG Joe Johnson has once again enjoyed a tremendous effort in the Hawks' 117-93 victory. Johnson scored 28 points with six rebounds, five assists, a steal, and a block on the evening. The fantasy faithful sit unimpressed, for this guy does this nearly every night.

Joe Johnson played almost 46 minutes on Monday night as he hit 11 of 20 shots on his way to 27 points in a losing effort. Johnson also dealt out 11 assists, though he had only one board and turned the ball over four times for the Hawks. Johnson now has at least 20 points in 5-straight games during which time he averaged 29.6 points per game.
March 8, 2008
Once again, it is Joe Johnson leading the way for the Atlanta Hawks. In tonight's 97-94 victory, it was Johnson's 39 points, 8 assists, and six rebounds that served as the shining headline on the day. Nothing too shocking for the lil' guard that could, but the more Johnson does, the less his supporting cast brings to help.

In a tough night for the Atlanta Hawks, Joe Johnson led the team with 24 points (almost matched by Mike Bibby with 21), adding three rebounds and four assists in a losing effort.

February 23, 2008
Joe Johnson led a Hawks team that never trailed to a 117-110 victory over the Warriors on Friday night. Johnson had three 3-pointers, eight boards and eight assists in a fine all-around effort while Mike Bibby was limited to under 25 minutes because of his injured heal. Johnson will continue to be the focal point of the offensive attack as the team's main scoring weapon.
February 20, 2008
Joe Johnson had 18 points for the Hawks in Tuesday's loss to the Lakers. Atlanta lost their season-worst fifth consecutive and sixth in a row on the road. Shooting forward Joe Smith had as many assists (6) as the two starting guards combined, Johnson (3) and Mike Bibby (3). The Hawks, who have playoff aspirations, looked like anything but a postseason contender in the loss at the Staples Center.
February 13, 2008
Joe Johnson led five Hawks in double-digits on Wednesday night with 23 points, though it wasn't enough as the Hawks dropped their fourth straight game by the score of 100-98 in OT to the Bobcats. Johnson is currently working on his third straight season of at least 20 points, four rebounds and four assists, so he remains a solid source of production despite shooting a 3-year low of 40.2% from the field.
