November 2, 2008 Minnesota big man Jason Collins is getting closer to making his return from an injured elbow, and he may be able to play by the end of next week, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. October 26, 2008 Jason Collins participated in practice and will be able to start contact work after Wednesday's opener, according to the Pioneer Press. He has missed the exhibition season while recovering from elbow surgery.
