October 7, 2008 The AP reports that Carlos Boozer missed Tuesday night's preseason opener against the Los Angeles Lakers because of a sore hamstring. The All-Star said the injury was not serious. However, it is the same hamstring Boozer tore three years ago, limiting him to 33 games in the 2005-06 season. Just a little sore, Boozer told the Deseret News. So, Id rather be safe than sorry.
October 1, 2008 Forward Carlos Boozer doesn't want to make any contract decision until after the 2008-09 season. He is eligible to opt out of his current deal after this campaign. "We're gonna let (contract matters) slide, so it's ready to be dealt with in the summertime," Boozer tells the Deseret News.
