July 7, 2008 Free agent center Brendan Morrison will sign with the Anaheim Ducks, this according to TSN of Canada. Terms of the impending contract have yet to be announced, but the deal is expected to be for one-to-two years. The report notes that Morrison turned down a one-year, $1.9 million offer from the Vancouver Canucks, the team he has spent the past eight seasons with.
Morrison is still rehabbing from an April 7th knee surgery.
