Jay Pandolfo will return to action on Monday night after sitting out the last 28 games due to an injured abdomen. Aaron Asham will be a healthy scratch to make room for Pandolfo who lost the third longest consecutive games played streak in team history (307) when he initially went down with the injury.
February 3, 2008
Although Jay Pandolfo didn't skate during an optional session Saturday, it wasn't because he suffered a setback in his recovery from a pubic bone ligament injury, according to the Star-Ledger. He sat out just so he could rest up mentally and physically. It's possible that he could return to the ice for Monday's skate against the Pens.
